Gudang Kembang Api Terbakar.Kerugian Rp 1m .Ledakan Terdengan Hingga 2 KM
29/02/2012 03:00:02  YOGYA (KR) - Gudang penyimpanan kembang api milik Ny Ayem di Jalan Kyai Mojo Tegalrejo, Selasa (28/2) sekitar pukul 09.10 terbakar. Selama proses pemadaman, kembang api terus menyala dan menimbulkan ledakan. Bahkan suara ledakan terdengar hingga radius 2 Km dan lontaran kembang api ke segala arah. Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa itu, namun kerugian diperkirakan mencapai Rp 1 miliar. Ledakan yang diduga berasal dari kembang api terdengar keras dan berlangsung lama. Akibatnya,  warga yang berada di sekitar lokasi kejadian menjadi panik. Di tengah kepanikan karena di dalam rumah terdapat beberapa tabung gas, petugas dan warga segera mengeluarkan barang-barang dari dalam toko, termasuk kembang api. Selain itu, hewan reptil seperti ular hias juga dievakuasi warga. Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun KR, kejadian itu bermula ada suara ledakan dari gudang penyimpanan kembang api yang posisinya di belakang toko roti milik korban. Kemudian terasa bau benda terbakar. Tak lama kemudian, terlihat kobaran api yang semakin membesar dan menjalar ke beberapa bagian rumah dan toko korban. Ada sekitar 9 mobil pemadam kebakaran dari Kota Yogya, Sleman dan Bantul datang dan baru bisa memadamkan api sekitar 2 jam kemudian. Peristiwa itu juga menyebabkan kemacetan di Jalan Kyai Mojo, karena banyak warga yang menyaksikan. Petugas terpaksa harus menutup jalan, baik dari arah timur maupun barat untuk memperlancar proses pemadaman. Kasat Reskrim Polresta Yogya Kompol Donny Siswoyo SIK mengaku belum mengetahui penyebab kebakaran itu. Begitu juga jumlah kerugian belum diketahui, namun diperkirakan mencapai Rp 1 miliar. ”Bisa dari konsleting listrik, bisa juga dari api. Tapi belum dapat kami pastikan, karena menunggu hasil pemeriksaan dari Labfor Semarang,” kata Donny. Menurutnya, proses yang pertama dilakukan adalah identifikasi setelah api benar-benar padam. Proses yang sama juga akan dilakukan oleh tim Labfor Semarang. Hal itu perlu dilakukan karena kebakaran menyangkut bahan peledak.
